One Corner, Five Minutes, 11 Scooters and 14 Kids

One Corner, Five Minutes, 11 Scooters and 14 Kids –

After lunch today, during which time innumerable examples of this rode by, I stood outside for five minutes and captured most of the scooters with kids aboard.

These are not great photos. My goal was not F1 coverage quality, my goal was to share how most families in most countries move around.

You’ll note lots of different styles here, kid in front, kid in back, parent sandwich, etc.

On the way home from lunch we saw a couple of scooters with tiny kids on board, I’d guess 18 months max. In both cases they were between the parent and the bars.

The scooter is the first step up the economic ladder for families, and the scooter is how the world moves.
