Stopping For A Cloud –

The urgent phrase “stop, stop, stop, stop” is frequently heard in and on our vehicles when we travel.

It’s usually for something one or the other of us wants to shoot.

We’ve stopped for many different things, but today, for the first time that I can remember, I stopped to shoot a cloud.

We’re here at a time of year when every day massive cumulus clouds build up into huge thunderheads, although I’ve yet to see any of them deliver any rain.

Consequently, every day brings beautiful skies for exterior backgrounds.

They are the best skies we’ve seen since Patagonia, which remains unsurpassed in that regard.

Usually, that’s all the clouds are, just features in the sky in the background.

But, not this one.
