Sunrise at Wat Saphan Hin

Sunrise at Wat Saphan Hin –

There are two periods of time when it’s worth shooting most outdoor locations: sunrise and sunset.

These are termed the golden hours, although the perfect light actually only lasts a few minutes and clouds and humans can easily ruin all your  well laid plans during that brief span.

Travel photography often consists of lots of effort to get to a location and hours of waiting for the perfect light just so a tourist can walk into your  perfect shot.

This is a photo story about a sunrise at Wat Saphan Hin where we did have good light and, thankfully, some delightful French and Australian tourists to share the magic moments with.

Like most sunrise travel locations, it involved getting up in the dark, waiting patiently for the perfect light, getting the postcard shot, capturing a few alternative perspectives and the long walk back.

It was a very good sunrise.
